Local artist Alexandra Gutierrez is a pyrographer, an artist who works by burning images into wood. Her creations take form in earrings, door hangers, refrigerator magnets, wall plaques and more. Each creation begins with the bare image burned into the wood. After the image is completed Alexandra hand paints them for a unique and vivid look. She does not make any of her designs twice so each of her pieces are unique.
